This SUNRISE adaptor has a standard 9.5 mm (3/8”) tripod socket on the bottom and tilting half-shell for tripod heads with 65/ 75mm. The particular cage is designed to use tripod heads with hemispherical in conjunction with sliders or dollies.
With this cage you can sweep the camera directly against the sky - something which is not possible with some tripod heads.
